Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek

Bonnet Creek is one of the tightest value plays in the whole Club Wyndham portfolio, but you have to book it right — and the 2026-27 Members Directory tells you exactly how. A 2 BR Deluxe during Prime weeks costs 44,500 points on a Friday or Saturday night but only 27,000 on a Sunday through Thursday. That one scheduling choice — which most owners skip past — cuts your nightly cost by 39%.

We pulled the full rate grid from pages 42 and 43 of the directory during our October 2026 extraction run. The Prime weeks for Bonnet Creek are 7–14, 23–33, and 51–52 — essentially mid-February through early April, early June through mid-August, and Christmas week. If you're holding an annual allocation of 308,000 points, a full Prime week in a 2 BR will eat 224,000 of them. That's almost exactly one of our two Use-Year cycles, so smart owners either travel in a 1 BR Deluxe (166,000 points per Prime week) and stretch the allocation across two trips, or book Value weeks instead where the same 2 BR drops to roughly 62% of the Prime rate.

The real arbitrage at Bonnet Creek is Sun–Thu stays during Value weeks. At 9,000–12,000 points per night in a 2 BR depending on exact season mix, you land a Lake Buena Vista resort suite for an effective $72–96 at the 0.008¢-per-point cost baseline we derived in our maintenance fee analysis. That's competitive with a budget hotel five miles farther from Disney, except you're in a 1,000-square-foot suite with a kitchen.

VIP tier is where Bonnet Creek gets genuinely valuable. Because the resort is flagged as `vipBenefitsApply: true` in our extraction, the points-discount rules in the Express Reservation Window (see rule ID `cwus_points_discount_window`) actually trigger here — unlike at the small handful of Club Wyndham Access-only resorts where Express discounts are suppressed. Silver owners save 15% on points at the 60-day mark, Gold owners 25%, and Platinum owners pick up 35–50% depending on suite type. For a 2 BR Deluxe Prime-Sun–Thu booking at 27,000 points, a Platinum discount takes that to ~13,500 per night. That's the math that pays for Pro membership on a single stay.

Two owner moves we see repeatedly at Bonnet Creek: booking 13 months out via the ARP window (see `cwus_advance_reservation_priority_arp`) to lock the Presidential suites that fill first, then cancelling and rebooking at the 60-day Express mark if discount eligibility kicks in. It works because cancellation penalties reset at the 14-day mark and not before — which means the "cancel-and-rebook" play is genuinely reversible if the inventory doesn't hold.
